0871 10ppm Flat Rate Revenue Generating National Number

0871 numbers are charged to the caller at 10p a minute including VAT at all times. This is slightly more than a BT National Rate call. Some of the 0871 revenue covers the cost of the outbound call and service, with a share paid as income or to offset the monthly rental charge, depending on the volume of phone traffic.

0871 is not a premium rate number and can be dialled from all landlines and mobiles, and can be dialled from the UK and some European countries.

0844 5ppm Flat Rate Revenue Neutral Lo-Call National Number

0844 numbers are charged to the caller at 5p a minute including VAT at all times. If inbound calls are transferred mostly to UK landlines, the revenue from the inbound call will cover the cost of the outbound call, resulting in the monthly rental being the only cost.

0844 numbers are used by organizations such as Health Authorities where a low flat cost is considered fair for the caller, and can be dialled from the UK and some European countries.

0800/0808 0ppm Freephone Number

080 Freephone numbers are free to the caller, except in some instances when dialling from a mobile. The PhonePresence client pays all the call charges. 080 numbers are often used as sales numbers to entice callers to dial.

080 numbers can only be dialled from the UK.

+44870 Internationally Accessible UK National Rate Number

Ideal for overseas traffic, 0870 numbers are internationally accessible by first dialling the UK +44 national prefix. International rates vary for dialling 0870 numbers, with the rates for dialling 0870 numbers in the UK changing in the future.

0207 London Number
